Hear it from our Parents

We understand that as a parent, kindergarten/preschool is a huge deal – it is the start of a child’s educational career. Hence, choosing the right one is a decision many parents find very difficult.

In making the decision, you may want to hear what our satisfied parents have to say about our programme.
En. Badurunhisam Mohd Nor, father to Syakirah (6y.o) summarised what he thought about us in one sentence:

All a parent wants for their kids are a place like home where they are nurtured within an Islamic environment, be happy, well fed and ensured security. And Alif Ceria is all that.

En. Muhammad  Fariq Burhan, parent of Muhammad Aqil Hakimi (5yo) wrote:

From its inception in 2010, Tadika Alif Ceria has been a true believer in educating children through playing (fun learning) while at the same time injecting Islamic teaching and values for nurturing the young souls.
Thus far, 2 of my children have since graduated from the programme while the youngest attending the 5 years old programme. From observation, I would say that both of them were well prepared for primary school’s teaching and adopting the new environment.
Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all teachers for guiding and being a good influence roles towards my children early development. As I once asked the Principal, “Are all your teachers are as enthusiastic as you?”. True to her words then, I can testify that their enthusiasm are infectious right till now.

And we received a long email from Pn. Azah Efal, mom to Syed Hariz (from class of 2012):

Assalamualaikum.
Bismillahirrahmaanirrahim…
InshaaAllah.

Storytelling with Tun Dr. Mahathir & Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah

We feel deeply honoured to have been invited to participate in the storytelling session with Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali during the Perdana Leadership Foundation Open Day 2013 last Sunday.

Both Tun were telling a story “Tiong dan Anak Kerbau”

It was a great experience meeting them both! Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for the opportunity…

Guess what we are making?

It’s Ocean week and guess what we are making?

A jellyfish in a bottle!
You only need:
  • Recycled plastic grocery bag
  • Thread or strings
  • Recycled plastic water bottle
  • Water and a few drops of blue food colouring
  • Scissors

And here’s how to do it:

  1. Cut the handles off the plastic bag so that you have a plain square of plastic.
  2. Now tie a section off with the string to make the jellyfish’s head.
  3. Cut the remainder into strips for the jellyfish’s tentacles.
  4. Push the jellyfish into the empty bottle.
  5. Fill the bottle with water, add a few drops of blue food colouring.
  6. Squeeze the bottle or tip it upside down to make the jellyfish swim up and down inside the bottle.
Easy peasy! It’s science, it’s craft time and it’s fun! Try it! 😉

Look what we did: Having a blast with BOXES!

The theme of the week is “Buildings”. Put away the Lego blocks kids… we are going to build using BOXES! London Bridge, KLCC, KL Tower, Eiffel Tower, you name it, we build it!
And there are a lot of other things to do with boxes, look how much fun we’re having!

London Bridge
Hide and seek!

Tower race

Throwing boxes

Hit the boxes

Ahh..I missed it!

Box relay race

Train boxes

What is our strategy?

Catch the ball!

See…I can fit in the box!

Push or pull?

I am as tall as the boxes

My body is flexible!

From the smallest to the biggest
How many small boxes can we fit into the big one?

Awesome, right? Alhamdulillah…
